Purpose

Since 2011, Aiding Children's Villages, has been building teams to help the community of Moshi, Tanzania, Africa (Kilimanjaro Region). The organization has completed three ‘Compassion Care’ mission trips to Moshi.

We bring humanitarian supplies, gift-care packages for each child, and construction supplies that will aid in orphan care and maintenance in the facilities. Additionally, we raise funds through a charity climb of Kilimanjaro that also brings sponsorship for orphans to climb. These resources immediately impact the orphanages expensive operational costs and overall well being for all involved.

Vision

The heart of our organization is to build qualified support teams to aid and assist Treasures of Africa Children's Home. Future vision is to enhance the organizations ability to build a self sustaining revenue stream from farming.

A single missions trip in the months of November/December has three phases. The first phase is a Charity climb of Mount Kilimanjaro (7 days) with Tanzanian Orphans. The second phase involves (Work detail and Education Tutoring Program) and the third phase is a community outreach program.

Educational Tutoring Program:

During the months of December to January, most Tanzanian kids are on Winter Break. TOA has tutoring programs in place for the kids to advance their educational growth. For six weeks, the kids can take a variety of classes. ACV typically provides Introductory Music Class and Outdoor Survival 101.

Work Detail:

7-10 working days in construction maintenance, cleaning, and whatever priority list is given on the facility.
